SABBATH DESECRATION.
•By Telegraph—Press- Association. NAPIER October 6. . At a meeting of the Hawke's BayPresbytery to-day, it was resolved that "This Presbytery deplores the widespread Sabbath desecration within its bounds, and urges the people of the various congregations to use their influence in the direction ot Sabbath observance, and recommends that ministers preach on the sabbath law on some , suitable date."
