A writ has been issued at the instance of Miss Ivy Salvin, an English lady, now residing in Sydney, claiming £5,000 damages from Bigwood, the husband of Carrie Moore, for breach of promise. Miss Salvin alleges that purchased Lord Northcote's motor-car for her for 420 guineas. An injunction will be applied for to-morrow to restrain Bigwood from dealing with the car.
