SOLICITOR STRUCK OFF ROLLS. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, October 5. The Appeal Court opened to-day. Sir Robert Stout and Justices Williams, Denniston, Edwards and Chapman were present. Seven cases are set down for hearing. The only suit taken to-day was an application by the Wellington Law Society to strike off the rolls Christopher Scott, solicitor, of Raetihi, sentenced to 18 months for forging a memorial on a certificate of title and the name of the assistant land registrar. The Court granted the application.
