THE IRISH CAUSE.
Received October 1, 11.35 p.m. NEW YORK, October 1. The "New York Sun," quoting Mr Dillon's recently expressed belief that the Irish cause,, if killed in America, would soon die in Ireland, sava that if Mr Billon is right ic must be mortifying to the Irish enthusiasts to recognise .that in all their .endeavours they must still be dependent on outsiders, it would be excusable if some of the outsiders were apt to conclude that tha misery of the Irish peopje is somewhat exaggerated or that confidence jn their ,political representatives is nowise .universal among theea.
