ST. BRIDE'S CONVENT RESULTS.

. Tne results of the examination show that the Sisters have sustained their reputation as teachers of singing and pianoforte, as out of the twenty-four pupils entered for the examination all passed, some with honours. For three consecutive years not one failure has been recorded in these examinations out of all the pupils entered from the Convent. The highest honours of the examination rest with Theodora Shapter, who entered for the A.T.C.L. in singing, and secured honours with 37 marks. Last year this same lady earned tha samo title for the pianofultu. The other results were v as follow (the maximum marks being 100, of which SO count for horour3 and 60 for a pass:) : SINGING. Intermediate Honours Alma Fuller 85. i Intermediate Pass—Coralie Smythson 81, Kera Te Whaiti 74, Olive Isaacson 67. Junior Honours—Mary O'Neill 92, (violin), Nilla Hyde 83 (piano), Eva Lenz 82. Junior Pass—Effie Wall 76, Mary Burke 68, Clarence La' Roche 67.
