TRINITY COLLEGE MUSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES. The results of the examination in practical pianoforte, htld by Mr H. Saint-George, at the local centre, have been received by the local Secretary, Miss von Keisenberg. Of two candidates who entered for the A.T.C.L. degree, one, Mjs3 Alice Jones, was successful in securing the degree, gaining 83 marks. The other candidate, Miss Ina McKenzie, who gained 77 marks, was awarded the certificate of C.P.T.C.L. b'oth candidates are pupils of Mr A. B. Wallace. The other results are as follow: Intermediate Division- Elsie May Reid (Miss Hampton, A.Mus.T.C.L.), 72 marks; Winifred Symes (Mrs Hoist), 62 marks. Junior Division Violet Field (Miss Hood, A.T.C.L.), 77; Mary Deller (Miss Livingston), 72; Myrtle Toxward (Miss Livingston), 68; Myrtle Renall (Miss Livingston), 66 marks. Preparatory Division—Nella Pragnell (Miss E. Daniell), 72. The piano used for the examination was lnnt by ihe British and Continental Piano Company, and was specially commtnted oh by the examiner.
