THE "WALLABIES."
MATCH .AGAINST DEVON. EASY VICTORY FOR AUSTRALIA. AN ACCIDENT. Received September 28, 1.10 a.m. LONDON, September 27. The Australian football team, known as the "Wallabies," opened their English tour yesterday with a match against Devon. The ""Wallabies" won by three goals and three tries (24 points) to one try (three points). There was about 14,000 spectators present. The ground wa3 rather soft. At the end of the first half the "Wallabies" got three.tries in eight minutes. JBurge, of the visiting team, broke one of his legs.
