Michael Tradeo, a Syrian passenger by the Chilian steamer Cordillera from Santos (Brazil), waa arrested when he landed at Rio de Janeiro. He was caught in the act of trying to throw overboard a trunk which on examination was? found to contain his employer's body. The man has confessed to having committed the murder. He also accuser the murdered man's wife ot complicity in the crime.
