LONDON AWARDS FOR MASTERTON SHOW.
..COMPARISONS WITH NEW ZEALAND JUDGING. The result cf the judging in London -of the sheep exhibited in the "freezing" class at last Maaterton Show came to hand yesterday from Messrs H. S. Fuller and Son, the London •ag'tiie. The results of the Home J i Jging are given below, aho the awards made by the judges at Maaterton Show. CLASS 223. Fen of five wethers or five maiden •ewfs, G-tooth and under, Long Wool (ir Long Wool cross, most suitable for freezing and the London market. Maaterton award - First, J. Strang; second, J. Strung; third, J. Strarg. London tiward—First, Morrison Bros, (tine quality, very meaty, well •covered); second, MuTson Bros, (iicod quality,- very meaty, fa'rly well covered); third, J. P. Perry »*-~T{goed quulicy, short legs, well covered, rather fat). CLASS 224. Pen of five fat wethprs or five fat miiden ewes, 6-tooth and under, .Down or Down crosr, most suitable fur freezing and the London market. Maaterton award—First, W. and /H. Beetham; second, W. and H. Beetham; third, W. Perry. London award—First, Wm. Perry (very fine quality, short legs, nice size, well covered); second, W. and H. Beetham (very line quality, well -covered, useful size)'; third, : W. and H. Beetham (very good quality,shoit legs, well covered).
CLASS 228
Five lambs, Down or Down cross, most suitable for freezing and the .London market. Masterton award— first, W. Perry; second, J. Strang; third, W. .and H. Beetham. London award—First, J. Strang (fine quality, well covered, short legs); second, Morrison Bros, (fine quality, short logs, useful s',;e); third, .1. Strang (fina quality, well covered, short legs). CLASS* 232. Five lambs, Long Wool or Long Wool cro33, most suitable for freezing and the London market. Masterton award—First, W. Perry; -second, W. and H. Beetham; third, It. Cooper. London award-First, Morrison Bros, (good quality, short legs, fairly well covered, but rather large); second, W. mid H. Beetham (good quality, short legs, fairly well covered, all ewes rather large); third, F Dorset (fairly good quality, useful size, meaty).
CLASS 232 A
Five lambs, most suitable for Lon>don market. Masterton award--First, W. and H. Beetham; second, Morrison Bros; third. Morrison Bros. London award—First, Morrison Bros, (very good quality, short legs, well covered, nice size); second, Wm. Perry (very good quality, fairly well covered, uaefull size); third, W. and H. Beetham (good quality, well •covered rather large).
