THE ARBITRATION BILL.
Part 111., which 5 deals .with Conciliation, is the most important portion of the Arbitration Bill, and ia sure to
claim the close attention of members when it cornea before the House far discussion. The principal proposals of the Minister of Labour are said to meet with the approval of the majority of the Labour members of the House. The Minister has expressed his willingness to concede one request, viz., that power should be given to increase the number of Conciliation Commissioners should it be found necessary. It is. generally ! considered that the Bill will have a faiily rapid passage through Committee.
