Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the .24 hours up till 9 am. on Thursday was 35 points; and for the 24 hours up till 9 a.m. on, Friday 23 points. Bv Telegraph -Press Association. WELLINGTON, September 18. The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. tomorrow: —Moderate to strong southerly winds generally, but changing to the northward at all places southward of Kaikonra and Hokitika after 5 a.m. The weather will bs fine in all parts of the Dominion.
