Saddlery: All hands fully employed. Motor and cycle trades (repairs): >.G.iod. ' Furniture trade: Good. Joinery: Slack. Piu.nomg and tinsmithing: Quiet. Dressmaking and millinery: A ■fair volume of business is reported. Boot trade (repairs): Good. , . General blacksmithing: Only moderate. Tailoring: Very good; all hands are fully employed, but no overtime has been woriced. Retail trades (general): Satisfac- . tory.. Unsidlled labour: There were applications for employment during tho month. Five single men, one married couple, and one tailoress were placed in employment. Greytown North.—Building trades: Very slack. Clothing trade (factories): Fairly busy. Ketail trade: Fairly good. Unskilled labour: Local men fairly w?ll employed. No room for outsiders at present.
