Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report as follows:-We held our fortnightly sale at Eketahuna on Friday, in Messrs Abraham and Williams' yards. We have to report having held a very successful sale. Entries did not come in up to advertised numbers, owing to the very rough weather, preventing settlers from mastering. ' The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report as follows: —We held our fortnightly sale in Miller's road yards, Dannevirke, on Friday, when we offered a fiair yarding of sheep and cattle to a good attendance of the public. Our entry of sheep was made up of hogget?, which sold in advance of late values. More activity was displayed in the catt!d market than has been the case of late, but vendors in most cases were inclined to hold on a little loncer, and consequently little business was done in this department. We Hoggets, good, Ha, others 7d aJ, 7s yd, 8s 4d, 9s sd; fat wethers, 15a Bd. Cattle —Yearling steers, 38s; 3-year steers, £3 ss; good dairy cows from £5 to ±5 9s, with a good enquiry. Pigs—Old sows ' in pig, £2 3; slips, 18s Gd.
