PALMERSTON NORTH SUPREME COURT.

Gleeson was ; charged with a breach of the Bankruptcy Act by incurring debts without any reasonable ground of expectation of paying the same. The D.O.A. produced the bankrupt's books, which showed a bad state cf affairs. The jury returned a verdict of guilty with a recommendation to mercy on the grounds of accused's inexperience and sentence was; reserved.
