FIGHTING FUNDS.
Received September y, 9.50 a m. LONDON, September 8. "The Times" says the employers will not accept the cotton operatives' proposals for a joint confir;:nca. The spinners have accumulated half a million pounds. The carlroom operatives, largely composed of women, are kssrich, but are a strong organisation.
