The following tenders were received for the construction of an electric tramline from O'Neill's Point to Takapuna:—Briscoe and Co., £9,017 17s 4d (accepted); Duthie, £9,205 6s 6d; Porter and Co., £9,741; Chambers and Co., £9,743; Turnbull and Jones, £9,337; Blakey, £9,849 16s.
