A PREMEDITATED, CRIME. Received -September 3, 10.20 a.m. KALGOORLIE, Sept. 3. Letters found on Douglas's body showed that he and Ella Wayth had been living together. The crime was premeditated, there being evidence of the couple having sat together on the floor, and Douglas shooting the girl through the head and then himself. A cablegram yesterday morning stated that Douglas and the girl were found dead at their lodgings, with a discharged revolver alongside their bodies.
