WANGANUI FREEZING COMPANY.
BY TUMSOKAPir PBEBB ASSOCIATION. WANGANUt, September 2. The eighteenth annual mpeting of the Wanganui Freezing Company was held to-day. The balance sheet showed a cr'.dit balance of £5,413, and a dividend of 6 per cent was declared. The chairman in moving the adoption o f the report referred to the drop in the price of wool, and said that New Zealand's income from that product was only half as much as last year. The Company had decided to increase the capacity of the works, and a contract has been let for an addition to the engine-room. A new machine capableoosf s freezing 2,000 sheep per day has been ordered, and will be ready for the coming season.
