MUTINY OF CHINESE TROOPS.
SEVERAL OFFICERS KILLED,
Received September 1, 9.26 a.m. PORT DARWIN, Sept. 1. A thousand Chinese troops mutinied at Taiwongkong, killed their commander and several petty officers, and ransacked the town. Another mutiny occurred at Wongkong. The mutineers, two thousand strong, murdered their general. Vigorous measures are being taken to suppress the outbreaks.
