FOUND DEAD.
BT TAr.EGIt.VPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, September 1. William Porter, a single man a?ed 25 year?, died suddenly between 7.30 last night and 3.30 this morning on the fishing boat Marba. The deceased was out on a week's fishing cruiee with th« two Sanford Bros He seemed in the best of spirits last night, and retired at 7.30. When they went to wake him at 3.30 he wa3dead. ' GISBORNE, September 1. An elderly man named James Cockery, who had been living with the Maoris at Te Arai, was found dead in a whare yesterday. He had been ailing lately.
