BALLANCE DAIRY COMPANY.

ANNUAL MEETING

(By Telegraph-Special Correspondent). PAHIATUA, August 31. The annual meeting of the shareholders of the Ballance Dairy Company was held this afternoon, about 120 hluu cowers being present. The Chairman's report showed that the Company had had a good year, the profits enabling a distribution to suppliers equal to a half penny on tho butter-fat. For the coming season the prospects wpre good, and good prices would obtain. The report and balance-sheet, as already published in the Age, was unanimously adopted. Messrs Croad and J. Matthews were elected directors in place of those retiring. Mr George Moore was appointed auditor. At a subsequent meeting of directors Mr A. MacFarlane was reelected chairman for the ensuing season.
