JAPANESE FINANCE.
EXPENDITURE TO BE CURTAILED. Received August 31, 8.33 a.m. LONDON, August 30. Reuter's Agency states that the Japanese Government has decided to curtail expenditure by twenty millions sterling. Thirty per cent, will be taken off the army and ten per cent, off the navy estimates.
