Ey Telegraph—Preis Association. f DANNEVIRKE, August 31. j There wa« a sitting of the Teachers' Court of Appeal at Dannevirke to-day, before Mr Riddell, S.M., and Messrs White (for the teachers) and McLean (for the Board). The case was one in which W. Mc-, Clure, master of the Kiritaki School, appealed against the action of the Board in transferring him from the Kiritaki School and offering him relief work. A great quantity of evidence was taken for the appellant, and showed that dissatisfaction of long standing with the committee, and the reports on th 9 school were not what the committee wished. It was also shown that there was friction between the master an'l mistress. The master also failed to live in the school residence. Mr Foster, master of the Mount Cook School, Wellington conducted the case for the Teachers' Institute. The appeal was dismissed with costs against the appellant.
