DEATH BY STRANGULATION.

ST. PETERSBURG, August 28. A higher court-martial at St. Petersburg confirmed the sentence of death by strangulation passed by a court-martial at Nikolaivesk, Manchuria, upon eight Japanese for wounding Russian soldiers they were conveying to prison.
