AUCTIONEERS AND PROPERTY SALESMEN.
MESSRS J. A. J. MACLEAN AND CU.
The lease of the spacious auction room in which the late business of K. E Howell and Co., Ltd., was recently conducted, has been purchased by Massrs J. A. J. Maclean and Co., who will open business there as auctioneers and property salesmen on Saturday next. The principal of the new firm, Mr J. A. J. Maclean, has had a life long association with the auctioneering business, and is particularly fitted to build up a good and permanent connection in this town and district. Regular weekly sales will be conducted at the mart, whilst outside sales will be undertaken in any part of the Wairarapa. Produce of all kinds will be auctioned periodically, as well as town and country property. Those having freehold property for sale are invited to send particulars to Messrs Maclean and Co. They are in touch with prospective buyers from the South Island, and are in a position to find purchasers for suitable properties readily.
