A WOMAN'S DEATH.

At the inquest of Jane MeLeary, whose body was found in the surf on vtijffl beach, evidence was given by the \ hatband that when be left for Auckland he parted good friends with his wife, who was, however, addicted to drink. Other evidence went to show .that deceased had been drinking. A verdict of found drowned was returned.
