A WOMAN KILLED AND ROBBED.

NO CLUE TO THE MURDERER. Received August 25, 10.35 p.m. LONDON, August 25 The wife of Major-General Charles E Laurd, of Ighthain Knoll, Seven Oaks, was shot with a revolver and killed, and robbed of three rings, her fingers being badly cut. 'lhe murder occurred on the balcony of a summer house in the lonely woods attached to Frankfield, the residence of Mr Horace Walkinson, at Seal Chart, Seven Oaks, shortly after her husband had left her at the wicket gate leading to the wood*. He was going to Goddengreen golf house to fetch his clubs. Their intention was to spend some days from home. There is no'clue as to who is the murderer.
