Welch, D. Caselberj, J as. Civ;*, A. Reside, VV. D. Watson, 0 C. Cooper, and J. O'Meara; Auditors, Messrs G. G. Cork and G. W. Scllar. Five new members were elected It was proposed by Mr J. A. Fuller, seconded by Mr J. O'Meara, that it be a recommendation to the incom-, ing Stewards to raise tie stakes foi the corning teai.cn from £2,000 to £3,000. Several members spoke in favour j of tnci motion, on the grounds that it would induce more outside horsts to compete at the meetings. On the motion uein;/ put to the meeting, it was carried unanimously. The Chairman stated that the plans for the various improvements to the course had not come to hand, and would be discussed at a meeting to be held at a later date. It was decided to place on the minutes the services rendered to the Club by Mr W. lorns, who. lias for irany yearn past been a Steward of the Club.
