The Scarborough Saturday team played the Pahialua Wednesday team here, the latter winning after a good game by two tries to a penalty goal. Walsh and Peters scored tries for the Wednesday team, and Horton kicking a goal for the Saturday team. The referee in the Manawatu-Wan-ganui football match on Saturday has reported a Wanganui player for kicking a Manawatu man, and has also reported the whole Wanganui team for hooting him after the match, which Manawatu won by nine points to nil. The Manawatu Union has referred the report to the Wanganui Union to be dealt with.
