MOTHER AND CHILDREN IN A WELL. TIMEDLY AID. Received August 19, 10.22 a.m. SYDNEY, August 19. An exciting experience, fortunately unattended with serious results, befel a Mrs Raynor and her two children. While playing near a well, one of the youngsters fell in. The mother, who hnppened to be near, at once placed on 'he ground a baby she was carrying, and jumped down after her child. The baby then crawled to the edge of the well, and tumbled in. Mrs Raynor, who was up to her neck in water, managed to scure both children, and hold them above her head for an hour, at the end of which time welcome aid arrived, and the three were rescued.
