The following is the annual report of the directors ot the Parkvale Dairy Company:—Herewith your directors have very much pleasure in submitting the eighth annual bal-ance-sheet and report. The factory was opened on September 2nd, 1907, and closed on June 3rd, 1908, during which time 3,473,4171bs of milk -ere received, being a decrease of .1,774,8271ba on last season's supply. The yield of >'t\r fat was 132,062.081b5, from Viich 334,863b1s of cheese were "no.de. Each pound of butter fat "•-?'ded 2.531bs of cheese, and each pound of cheese required 10.371bs of milk. The tests rarged from 3.2 to 6, the average being 3.8. One hundred, and forty tons of cheese weie shipped to London, the balance being .'available for the New Zealand trade. 'After Betting aside the sum of £GG 14s a-i a dividend of G per cent, on the subscribed capital, and writing £55 lis lid off for the depreciation of plant and builcingp, tin re remains a balance of £1,788 7s Id due to mipplieis, making the actual price paid per pound of butter if at is o£d, equal to 4.89 d per gallon of lOJlbs of milk. You will be asked to elect three diiectors to succeed Messrs G. Gaskin, N. Johnson and W. W. Ellir. The two former retire by effluxion of time, and, being eligible, offer themselves for re election. Mr Ellis having reined does not seek reelection. You will aho be asked to elect: an aujitor and fix his remuneration.
