A STOREKEEPER DROWNED. BY TBU'.OTUPII —l'Ul'i.S!! ASKOCI VI'ION. NEW PLYMOUTH, August 14. The police received advice late tonight of a fatal boat accident at | Waikino. Chas. Govenlock, Albert Perrott, P. Halmond and Fred. Halmond went in a boat fishint? at the mouth of the river. On the return journey the boat up let, and Govenlock, who is a storekeeper, was drowned. The body was recovered. Another of the party was rescued with difficulty.
