The attendance was large and the course was in capital order. As on the first day, the racing was full of interest, the finishes for the August Handicap and Islington Handicap being very close. The totalisator investments amounted to £19,439, as against £20,887. Seventeen bookmakers were licensed inside and thirty-four outside.
