A TRYING EXPERIENCE.
Received August 13, 10 p.m. LONDON, August 13. Miss Viola Spencer, the well known parachutisS had a trying experience yesterda>. She ascended at Ilkeston, but the parachute proved undetaehable, and Misj Sponcor was compelled to.retain a perilous seat all night until the balloon dropped near Leicester. She nearly perished with the cold.
