ALLEGED THEFT.
CHARGE AGAINST A SOLICITOR. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N., August 13. C. E. Harden, solicitor, appeared before Justices this morning on a charge of theft of £260, the property of Margaret M. Hancock. On the application of the police a remand was granted till Friday week, bail —self in £2OO, and two sureties of £IOO each—being allowed.
