The death is announced at Dunedin of Mrs Edmund Cook, sister of Mr James Brown, of the Wellington City Council staff Mrs Cook was isborn in Wellington, and was married there to Mr Edmund Cook of the Postal Department, who afterwards / became chiet postmaster at Timaru. Her husband, who was also a native " of Wellington, brother of the Messrs H. and J. Cook, Makara, and Mr R. •Cook, Wadestown, died three years two years after he had retired on a pension of £333 a year. Mr Cook, of Masterton, and Mr Cook, of Lawrence, are sons of deceased.
