SUCCESS OF BEAUREPAIRE. Received August 12, 8.45 a.m. LONDuN, August 11. Beaurepaire. the Victorian swimmer, won the 440 yards salt-water championship at Weston-Super-Mare, Somersetshire, in 4min 59 2-sth sec, beating Battersby (England) by a yard and a half. Radmilovic (Welsh champion) and Springfield (Queensland) tied for third. Taylor (England) failed to complete the course.
