MILITARY TRAINING.
The leading ministers ot religion, the majority of the Judges, almost all mayors and chairmen of local authorities, the Press of the. Dominion, with odd exceptions, and an overwhelming majority of what are termed "representative men" are in favour of the general principle of military training. Whether the age is nine een or twenty-one is a mete detail. The point is that every man in the State ought to be so trained in his youth that he will be able in'after life to fall into line for the defence of his country if called upon to do so.
