RACING YACHT SUNK. LONDON, August 7. During the racing at l\v* Cowes Regatta, the Marquis of Ailsa's yacht Bloodhound loultd L'csperance. The former sank. Many yachts, including King Edward's, sent their ljuncnes to rescue Lord AiLsa anil hii t.iends.

In connection with the recent report that a number of mission biys had been killei and eaten in the Baining district, New Britain, it transpires it was not mission boys who were the victims, but six natives belonging lo the town of Ragaga who were killel and ea'en by bush natives in revenge for the stealing nf some of tne latter's goods. The Government polics have punished the murilererf.
