TOWN ENWRAPPED IN FLAMES. 6,000 PERSONS CAMPED ON PRAIRIE. BUILDINGS DYNAMITED. Received August 5, 8.40 a.m. VANCOUVER, August 4. On Saturday morning the fire appeared on the mountains west of Fernie, and ran downwards, enwrapping the town in flames. Six thousand of the inhabitants are now encamped on the prairie. Some buildings at Michel were dynamited, and thus saved the town. The Goverment is sending relief.
