EXPORT OF GOLD.
BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON. August 4. The export of gold from New Zealand for the past seven months was 297,037 ounces, valued at £1,175,524, or an increase of 17,201 ounces, valued at £56,298, over the figures for the corresponding period of last year. During last month, 42,220 ounces of the value of £167,553, were exported, as compared with 52,966 ounces valued at £21,809, during July of last year.
