HOCKEY.
The following team have been chosen to represent Wairarapa against Wellington, at Wellington, on Saturday next: Goal—Hall (W.F.C.A.). Full-backs— Thynne (W.F.C.A.), Morgan (Carterton). Half-backs— Seivers (Carterton), Donald (Y.M.C.A.), Richards (W.F.C.A). Wings Bunnv (Carterton), Hooper (Y.M.C.A.) Forwards Minett (W.F.C.A.), \V. Fisher (Carterton), J. Gray (Knox). . . Emergencies Forwards, Nixon (Y.M.C.A.), Reid (Carterton); backs, Boyd ( (Knox), J. Fisher (Carterton). Any of the above players who cannot make the trip are requested to notify the secretary (Mr A. C. Pragnell) as soon as possible. The team will leave on Friday afternoon, returning on Saturday evening. This team will play a team chosen from the remainder of the Wairarapa players on Thursday, at the completion of .the seven-aside tournament, which will take place at Carterton. A drag will leave the W.F.C.A. at 1.30 sharp, to convey players to the tournament and representative 'match. Any players who have uniforms belonging to the Wairarapa Association are requested to forward them to the secretary. Representative players, making the trip to Wellington, are requested to procure black hockey pants. Mr A. C.Major will present the "JMajor Badges" to the successful team at a smoke concert to be held in the evening at Carterton. The following is the W.F.C.A. A team to play in the finals of the seven-aside tournament at Carterton, on Thursday. Drag leaves at I.3o:—Hall, Smith, Fairbrother, Minett, Pragnell, Whitt, La Roche.
