RACING.
BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. FEILDING, August 3. Mr J. W. Aldworth, of Silverhope, has been' appointed starter for the Feilding Jockey Club. The annual race meeting of the Woodlands Hunt Club will be held on the Pahiatua Racecourse to-morrow (Wednesday). All the races will be run on the course proper. The Railway Department have consented to issue excursion tickets to Pahiatua by trains leaving Palmerston North, Dannevirke, Masterton, and intermediate stations to-morrow. Mr Arnold Weston, the Club's popular secretary, has all the arrangements complete, and given fine weather the meeting should be the most successful the Club has yet held. The stewards have had considerable experience as stewards of larger race meetings, so that the public can depend on the meeting being well conducted. The nominations received constitute a record, and very keen interest is being taken in the work done by horses that are being trained for the meeting.
