THE WORLD'S FLOCKS.

The latest sheep statistics of the world reveal a striking diminution in their numbers, compared with thirteen years ago. They were then estimated at 523 millions, while today they are 479 millions, a falling off of 44 millions. This shrinkage in sheep, coupled with the increase in population, at least justifies feelings of solid security and hopefulness, to all engaged in sheep husbandry. • There is another interesting fact in this connection, namely, whilst this diminution in shetp has bean going on, the yearly sales of Cooper's gDip have continuously increased. Thirteen years ago, its output would dip 140 million sheep. To-day, it suffices to dip over J,250 millions! Remarkable as this statement may, seem, it is nevertheless absolutely true. It is based on the official certificate of a chartered accountant, who has recently examined the books of the Berkhamsted factory. It means that the yearly sales of "Cooper" are sufficient to dip more than half of all the sheep now grazing on the pastures of the world. JjJ There can be only one explanation of this increasing and universal preference—namely, tint Cooper's yields the most profitable results of all Sheep Dips.*
