IMPORTANT SALES OF DAIRY HERDS.
AT KAIWAIWAI
O.i Friday, August 7th, at Kaiwaiwai, Featherston, Messrs Abraham and Willianid, Ltd., will sell, on behalf of Mr J.F. Fenwick (who •is giving up dairying) the whole of his dairy herd. It comprises 40 picked dairy cows, due in August and September, and 40 springing heifers. This herd has been carefully culled for the past ten years, and is now admitted to be one of the best in the district. Twenty store, pigs, three sows, and ten hack and harness horses will also be offered at the sale.
AT RONGOMAI
The whole of Mr J. M. Davies' dairy herd will be offered for sale by Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., at Rongomai, on Friday, August 7th. A herd of 42 cows, which has been heavily culled, and mostly young and in their prime, will be submitted, as well as eleven' heifers, from best cows, saved for own use, and which should come to profit at factory dates. Luncheon will be provided at the sale.
