NORTH ISLAND TRUNK RAILWAY.
BY TELEGRAPH—MESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, July 30. "We shall have finished rail-laying as far as we can get to-morrow," said the Minister for Public Works this morning in referring to the North Island Trunk Railway, "but the Manganuiteao tunnel bridge will not be ready for rail-laying until Tuesday or Wednesday next, and until then the rails cannot be ldid."
