ROTORUA MAORI ENTERTAINERS.
Speaking of a recent performance given in Wellington by the Rotorua Maori Entertainers a Wellington contemporary says:— "A magnificent entertainment was given in the Town Hall under the auspices of the Young Maori Party. It was a revelation as to what strict (raining combined with the Native ability of the Maori, can accomplish in adequately representing the mueic, dancing, and poetry of that interesting people on the stage, and Mr Ngata, M.P., the Rev. F. A. Bennett and others con cerned in the arrangement and perfect stage management are to be congratulated on Ihe successful culmination of their strenuous efforts of the past few weeks. The Town Hall was filled to its utmost capacity by an audience that quickly manifested indications of the fascination the performance exerted, and throughout the unique programme was punctuated with hursts of enthusiastic applause mors than deserved by the completeness of the show." The Entertainers will appear in the Ma<3terton Town Hall this evening and to-morrow evening.
