IMPORTANT SALE OF DAIRY STOCK.
MR S. R. LANCASTER'S HERD.
At Mr S. R. Lancaster's farm, IHtzherbert East, on Wednesday, August sth. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will offer for sale, by public auction, 170 superior dairy cows and heifers, 25 of which will be in milk on the day of sale, and the remainder are due in August and September. Great care has been exercised by Mr Lancaster in the selection of these cows. This sale is looked forward to with interest every year by dairy farmers, and buyers are attracted from a great distance. This year 200 head will be offered, and the quality is more than equal to anything yet offered in the Palmerston district. Several pedigree Jerseys will be submitted, absolutely without reserve, and every animal guaranteed sound and to calve to date. Dairymen and others in search of good cows should make a point of attending this sale.
