CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION.
BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, July 28. The f Committee of the New Zealand Shipowners' Federation resolved to oppose the proposed Councils of Conciliation, being of opinion that failing a settlement of disputes by con ference, the parties should go before thi Arbitration Court. The Committee also thought that the exclusion of the professional agitator would be a great factor in securing amicable settlements. The transfer of enforcement cases from the Arbitration Court to the Magistrate's Court was objected to.
