THEFT OF MONEY.
BY TELEGKAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER July 28. Two lads, aged fourteen and thirteen years, respectively, appeared at the sitting of the Juvenile Court, before Mr W. P. James, S.M., this morning, charged with breaking and entering Messrs Bes'ali and Griffiths' drapery establishment and stealing 18s in cash.
Both boys admitted thp offence, and weee severely cautioneu by the Bench. His Worship said that he would not send them to gaol or to an industrial school, but in order that they should be punished as he thought they should be he ordered them to be birched by a constable.
